Christine Gentile is a New York based interior designer. Prior to starting her own firm, Christine honed her skills in Fashion Buying, Merchandising and Fashion Design. In 1992, she founded Ashbourne, a standalone interior furnishings retailer and importer of European Antiques.

When demand for her bespoke design services overtook the retail sector of her business, Christine and her husband Charles created Ashbourne Designs. Charles, a fine home builder himself, often collaborates with Christine on the construction arm of her design projects.

A creative at heart, Christine has spent her life following her instincts honing her skills. Insatiably drawn to the mechanics of crafting beautiful spaces, Christine has lent her signature aesthetic, which is at once both classic and unexpected- a fresh take on traditional, to luxury residential projects and designer show homes in the tri-state area for over 20 years. Her trademark attention to detail, incorporation of the unexpected and innate sense of what ineffably makes a space work are hallmarks of Christine’s design. Her projects have been featured in Luxe Home Décor, Traditional Home, and Cottages and Gardens.
